17 Fun Things To Do In The Summer

17 Fun Things To Do In The Summer

There are a lot of fun things to do in the summer. Here are some of the lists that you might like and consider doing.

 1.      Beach – This is one of the most popular destination places that people love to go to and hang out with family and friends during summertime. You can do a lot of fun things on the beach. Like; swimming, surfing, beach ball activities, sunbathing or maybe just relaxation.

 2.     Water Falls/Mountain Hiking – If you like hiking, these are for you. Just make sure you are physically healthy. Wear appropriate clothes and shoes for hiking. You can wear a hat for protection from direct heat and don't forget to bring some water with you there might be a lot of walking to do. You can search online. There are a lot of waterfalls and beautiful mountains to go to as well. Tallulah Falls and the Highest Peak of Georgia are great destinations, and it's a pretty neat breathtaking experience seeing the incredible scenery outside of the home. The more you will appreciate the goodness and faithfulness of our Creator.

 3.     Camping – Lots of people like to camp, and it sounds fun as well. There are many campsites out there that you can check, or maybe you can camp at the lakeside, in your backyard, or your front yard.

4.     Lake – If you live far from the ocean, this is an excellent place to go with your family and friends. Lots of entertainment that you can see most especially during the weekend. People like to ride on their jet skis, pontoon boats and some individuals want to do an exhibition show.

5.     Theme Parks/Amusement Parks – There are many beautiful theme parks and amusement parks that cater to your family and friends' wants and needs. All kinds of fun and exciting entertainment like roller coasters, water slides, beautiful shows, refreshments, and a lot more. You can search online. There are a lot of unique places to go. For example, suppose you have never been to Dolly Wood, Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, Disney Theme Parks, and Sea World, Florida. In that case, these are fantastic places to hang out with your family and friends.

6.     River Rafting, Kayaking, and Tubing – These are also fun activities for summertime. Many people love these fantastic water activities.

7.    Cruise – I just heard and see-through television that cruise is one of the fun things to do in the summer. You might consider traveling anywhere with big ships and with their lovely entertainment.

8.   Sky Diving and Zip Line – If you are not afraid of heights, these are for you, or you might want to explore and experience how it feels to being dropped off from the top.

9.    Pool - This is an excellent place to be refresh from hot and humid summer. Some pools cater swimming hours for the public to have fun and enjoy. But if you have your collection, that would be great. You can jump and swim right next door in your backyard or your front yard.

10.  Cooking, Baking, and Gardening – If you are the kind of person who likes these kinds of stuff and does not like to be around so many people, these things are great for you with your family and kids. Since summertime has no school, kids can learn and help with gardening, cooking, and baking.

11.   Museums – If you like history and will enjoy seeing many beautiful kinds of stuff related to science, technology, and historical events, this is for you. I've been to some stunning historical museums like the USS York Town US Navy Museum in South Carolina and Ripley's Aquarium in Gatlinburg, Tennessee.

12.  Island Hopping – I haven't tried this kind of adventure yet, but I think island hopping is fun too.

 13.  Shopping – I know many people out there like to go shopping, especially women. There are many good deals online and in stores. You can buy whatever you want and need as long as it fits your budget. I don't know how much is your budget, and it just depends on your household.

14.  Community Service - I believe helping the community and other people is very fulfilling. No one can detach the joy and happiness in serving our fellowmen, most especially those in need. Sharing and helping show that we genuinely care and love other people.

15.  Motorcycle Ride – Big bikes are everywhere, and it is a fun experience.

16.  Sports and Physical Fitness – You might want to enroll in any physical fitness and sports. That would be a fantastic experience being around other people who have the same passion aside from staying healthy and fit.

17. Last but not least, having quality time with family and friends in summer or not is a beautiful moment. Simple activities like having breakfast, lunch, or a dinner date, cookout, picnic at the park, karaoke, go to a movie theater, watching live shows, and a lot more. Live shows are pretty cool. Excellent live shows such as Dixie Stampede's show in Tennessee, the Sea Lion High, and Dolphins Show at Sea World, Orlando, Florida. These are pretty good and guaranteed you will truly be entertained and will have fun.

I Hope Your Summer is a Bucket Full of Fun!!!

It's Superbowl Day!

Today is the big day for the two football teams New Orleans (Saints) and Indianapolis (Colts). This is the big game of the year for football. The said Super Bowl will be held in Miami, Florida.

For those who can't watch live in the Stadium during the game, I'm pretty sure most of the men, husbands, boys, teenagers will stay at home to watch this game through live telecast. Even women will watch too.

I love to watch football now. Before, I don't like it because I couldn't understand the rules and how the players can score in the game. I asked my hubby about it and he explained it to me.

My hubby favored the Saints to win. I said in reverse I'll go for Indianapolis (Colts) team let us see if they can beat them. hehehe... But i know he's really a super fan of Miami Dolphins anyway.

It's countdown time Super Bowl will begin at 6:30pm tonight. Enjoy watching everybody with some pizzas, sodas or a light drinks maybe. :))

Beijing Summer Olympics...

Summer Olympics 2008 is held in China, Beijing. What a fantastic opening night ceremony. An excellent job done by the country of china. It was their first time to handle an Olympic game and it's so memorable to them.

The Olympics 2008 were participated by different countries around the world. Like France, Brazil, Poland, Netherlands, Russia, Republic of Georgia, Canada, China, Japan, USA and so many other countries.

I had a great time watching every games. Like gymnastics, fencing, volleyball, basketball and swimming. The Americans got the gold record for swimming especially Michael Phelps who won the 400 IM swimming competition. And also a basketball finals between USA and China. I never thought that all players in basketball were NBA players. Huh! Well, it's an Olympic game all best players will be send to represent their own country. Two NBA players I've known who played were Kobe Bryant and Lebron James. Finally USA won the victory scores 101 versus China's scores 70.

It's beautiful to watch the different countries around the world with peace in their hearts. No wars at all. When i looked at the two players from Russia and the Republic of Georgia they were not affected in the on going war that happened to their countries. Their still kissed and hugged each other after the game.

What a wonderful world if all countries in the world will unite instead of wars.
