Miss America 2011

A 17-year old girl from the state of Nebraska Miss Teresa Scanlan was crowned as the new Miss America 2011 last night January 15th 2011 in Las Vegas.

She bit the other girls in the said competition. She showed her capacity to win on the pageant by her talent, brain and beauty. She is the youngest winner ever since Miss America started.

She won a $50,000 scholarship program. Her plan is to get a law course in college to be able to get what she desires as a good Lawyer and a good politician someday.

Well, God bless to her and i hope she'll be a good influencers for everyone specially in our youth of today. May she be able to achieve what her plans and desires in life according to God's standard and plans. And may the good values she has will continue to shine and remain in her whatever and whenever she may be.

Onward 2011!

Year 2011 according to the Chinese Zodiac is the Year of the Rabbit, which starts on February 3rd of 2011 until January 22nd of 2012. Chinese Zodiac explains that people who are born on the year of the rabbit are some kind of an introvert and wants a private life. But on the other hand they are friendly who likes to be around with good friends as well.


According to Chinese zodiac they are the kind of people who are good communicators, teachers. Chinese tradition says that the rabbit year it is a time to stretch out your patience specially in dealing with issues to other people and the issues of life that may arise.


Anyway whatever year it is, it maybe year of the ox, year of the tiger and or year of the rabbit, for me it is always the Year of the Lord. Believing and continuing my faith in Him throughout the year. Everyday is a perfect gift from above that you and i should be thankful for.


May we all achieve what we want and desire to do this year according to GODs standard and His plan for us.

The Ultimate Gift

Have you heard about this movie? Maybe some of you yes and some of you don't.

I could say "The Ultimate Gift" is one of the best movie I've ever watched in my whole life. So sad, but in the end so happy. I highly recommend this movie to be watch. Not just for lovers, but this is a family movie. Oh, I'm promoting it. 😍

This is really an awesome movie maybe from age 10 up.

Don't miss to rent and watch this very good movie guys. I tell you, you won't regret at all.

Back To School Goodies

Hey moms and dads out there. Where you able to buy some goodies for your kids for school already? 104 summer vacation for the students finally over and back to school is coming.

I hope moms and dads were able to find great deals in buying some stuff for your kids. There's what we call a free sales tax last first week of August, I hope most of you availed that free sales tax day at least to have a good bux in your pocket.

Surely students loves new clothes, shoes, bags, and other accessories/stuffs before going back to school. You can find great deals in retail stores, thrift stores and other stuff outlets that is good for your budget.

I hope you had a wonderful time shopping with your kids. Even though mom and dad did some shopping spree for their sons and daughters. 😍

Zumba Fitness... Luv it! :))

When I saw the ad of Zumba fitness about an hour in the TV. I was surprise to see those very fat women whose bodies were transformed into a sexy body. Wow! It's really amazing.

For those who doesn't know about Zumba fitness this is a kind of fitness that will not bore you out. It's like dancing and it has different kinds of music. It has a lot of fun seeing those women and men doing the Zumba fitness.

I think this is a good idea for me to start tracking back my body. I'm not really fat at all I just gained weight during my pregnancy time and after i delivered the baby it seems I still have a fewer fats.

I used to do exercise when I was still single. Anyway, that's part of my routine before. Maybe I need to have a goal to keep myself physically fit specially I'm a fulltime mom at this time, in order to be healthy not just physically but to be healthy emotionally, mentally and spiritually.

I read in one article that if you are physically fit it can boost your mind, you will have a stronger/better teeth and your heart is healthy too. :))

It's Superbowl Day!

Today is the big day for the two football teams New Orleans (Saints) and Indianapolis (Colts). This is the big game of the year for football. The said Super Bowl will be held in Miami, Florida.

For those who can't watch live in the Stadium during the game, I'm pretty sure most of the men, husbands, boys, teenagers will stay at home to watch this game through live telecast. Even women will watch too.

I love to watch football now. Before, I don't like it because I couldn't understand the rules and how the players can score in the game. I asked my hubby about it and he explained it to me.

My hubby favored the Saints to win. I said in reverse I'll go for Indianapolis (Colts) team let us see if they can beat them. hehehe... But i know he's really a super fan of Miami Dolphins anyway.

It's countdown time Super Bowl will begin at 6:30pm tonight. Enjoy watching everybody with some pizzas, sodas or a light drinks maybe. :))
